This spoon has been hand carved following the natural grain and just looks like a good left handed fit to me. I use only a hatchet, knife, and gouge to create my spoons. Carved with hiking, backpacking and bushcrafting in mind where weight matters. All of my spoons sport a tooled finish and have been treated with a foodsafe mixture of beeswax and linseed oil. This spoon is nine inches long with a comfortable octagonal handle. Carved in black walnut for small cooking, serving and to eat with, all with one rugged spoon. Think long handled soup spoon.
