A smaller bowled ladle carved with hand tools, a hatchet, knives and gouge from an exotic and invasive bush, autumn olive. Found, cut, hauled out of the woods on my back, carved by hand and then seasoned with a mixture of linseed oil and beeswax, both food safe. This is an eleven inch ladle from a crook with a slender handle and a smaller shallow bowl, suitable for gravy, sauces, salsas and the like. The bright yellow color is all natural and will fade with use and time. A great gift idea and an even better tool for your own kitchen.
