Noggin, kuksa, drinking cup, handled bowl, handcarved with hatchet, adze, knife and gouge

Known by many names in various regions of the old world. Before the industrial age, many if not most drinking vessels were of wood for the common people. Often carved from beautiful burls. My "noggin" is just a carved cup of black cherry wood. I incorporate various aspects that I have seen and here is what my tools and skills allowed. A nice 3 to 4 ounce cup hand carved with a milk painted handle and preseasoned with a foodsafe linseed oil and beeswax, all food safe. The handle sports a three foot cord just in case, Viking beads from GreenmanNaturecraft and an antler toggle. Suitable for wine, whiskey, coffee, soup or dare I say... Water?
