Hand carved with a hatchet and knife and left with a tooled finish. These milk painted box elder chopsticks, yellow and black, are nine and one half inches long and seasoned with a mixture of linseed oil and beeswax. The paints, oil and wax mixture are all completely food safe. Chop chop if you prefer sticks over spoons. I'm told that nothing beats chopsticks for fish. Thank you for looking!

Beautiful feel and balance in the hand, not an easy thing to accomplish with a knife and a piece of firewood. As well as for home use, I take these to restaurants -- examples of artistic sustainability in a throw-away world.
