Known by many names in various regions of the old world. Before the industrial age many, if not most drinking vessels were of wood for the common people. This style is called a quaich, Scottish in origin but it also incorporated some elements of the North American noggin or voyageur cup. I incorporate aspects that I've seen and here is what my tools allowed this time. A cup for your whiskey, grog or rum ration, even a small bowl of hearty chili! Hand carved in black cherry and seasoned with Walrus Oil Naturals Wood Oil, a 100% plant based and vegan friendly finish with coconut and jojoba oils and candelilla wax, all food safe. A cup or bowl suitable for spirits, wine, coffee, soup or dare I say... Water? This quaich holds four ounces of liquid and sports a braided cord lanyard and a GreenmanNaturecraft glass bead. Add this to your camping kit and impress your bushcraft buddies.
