This lightweight spoon has been hand carved from a bit of trimmed silver maple using a hatchet and knives. Then the spoon was baked to a golden brown alongside our bread in the oven. Carved in my all in one, hiking, backpacking, bushcraft or camp cooking spoon design idea where weight matters, but don't let that stop you from adding one to your kitchen. This one has a soup spoon sized wok style bowl perfect for dinner, soup, deserts and dinner from a plate. Seasoned with food safe linseed oil and beeswax. These spoons are tool finished, right off the knives, nine inches long with long comfortable tapered handles. Carved with small campfires, stoves, deep jars and ice cream in mind.
